According to the legend that he stood at the Torii Pass in Mt.Azumaya and mourned, "Azumahaya (Oh my wife)" in memory of his late wife.
As a result, the eastern country of this cocoon was named Azumakoku and the place name of Tsumagoi(Loving wife) was named after this event.
